BlackjackIQ ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. 

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your  

information when you use our mobile application BlackjackIQ (the "App").  

By using BlackjackIQ, you agree to the collection and use of information in 

accordance with this policy.  

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT 

2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device 

When you use BlackjackIQ, the following information is stored locally on your 

device: 

- Training statistics (drills completed, cards processed, accuracy  

percentages)  

- Daily challenge progress and streak data  

- Progression data (level, XP, unlocked achievements) 

- Performance records and best times  

- App preferences (haptic feedback settings)  

- Unlocked cosmetic items and themes  

2.2 Apple Services Data 

- Apple ID information (only when you make in-app purchases or enable iCloud  

sync) 

- Device type and iOS version (for app compatibility purposes)  

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect 

- No personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number, address) 

- No analytics or usage tracking data 

- No location data  

- No access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or other personal files  

- No gambling or real money transaction data  

- No advertising identifiers or tracking cookies  

- No third-party data collection of any kind  

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION  

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes: 

3.1 App Functionality 

- Providing card counting training exercises and drills 

- Tracking your learning progress and training statistics 

- Generating AI-powered training insights (Pro Trainer feature only)  

- Syncing your training data across your devices via iCloud (optional)  

- Managing daily challenges and streak tracking 

- Saving your app preferences 

3.2 Customer Support  

- Responding to your support requests and questions 

- Troubleshooting technical issues  

- Restoring your Pro Trainer purchase 

We do NOT use your data for:  

- Advertising or marketing  

- Analytics or behavioral tracking  

- Selling or sharing with third parties 

- Any purpose other than providing the app's training features  

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY  

4.1 Local Storage 

Most of your data is stored exclusively on your device using iOS UserDefaults.

This includes: 

- All training statistics and performance data  

- Progression data (level, XP, achievements)  

- App settings and preferences  

- Unlocked items  

This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any 

third party.  

4.2 iCloud Sync (Optional)  

If you choose to enable iCloud sync in the app settings, the following data 

syncs across your Apple devices:  

- Training statistics (drills completed, cards processed, accuracy) 

- Progression data (level, XP, unlocked achievements) 

- Daily challenge streak data 

- Performance records and best times  

- Unlocked themes and cosmetic items  

Important notes about iCloud sync:  

- iCloud sync is entirely optional and disabled by default  

- Requires you to be signed in with your Apple ID 

- Data is synced using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage service 

- iCloud data is encrypted and stored securely by Apple 

- We do not have access to your iCloud data or Apple ID 

- You can enable or disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings 

4.3 In-App Purchases  

- Pro Trainer purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store using

StoreKit 

- We do not store, process, or have access to your payment information  

- Purchase receipts are verified through Apple's servers  

- Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and automatically restores on your 

devices 

4.4 Data Security 

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information: 

- All data stored locally is protected by iOS security features 

- iCloud data is encrypted using Apple's encryption standards 

- We do not transmit your training data to external servers 

- No third-party services have access to your data  

5. AI-POWERED INSIGHTS (PRO TRAINER FEATURE)  

Pro Trainer users receive AI-generated training insights and recommendations. 

Important privacy information:  

- All AI processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's Core ML 

framework 

- No training data is sent to external servers or cloud AI services 

- Insights are personalized based solely on your local statistics 

- Your training data never leaves your device for AI analysis 

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES 

6.1 Apple Services Only 

We use only the following Apple-provided services:  

- StoreKit (for in-app purchases) 

- iCloud Key-Value Storage (for optional data sync) 

6.2 What We Do NOT Use  

- No third-party analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel,  

etc.) 

- No advertising networks or ad SDKs  

- No crash reporting services 

- No social media integrations  

- No external databases or cloud services 

- No tracking pixels or cookies 

7. DATA SHARING 

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third  

parties.  

We may only disclose information in the following limited circumstances:  

- With your explicit consent  

- To comply with legal obligations or valid law enforcement requests  

- To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users  

- In connection with a business transfer or acquisition (users would be 

notified) 

Since we collect minimal data and do not use third-party services, there are  

very few scenarios where your data would ever be shared.  

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY 

BlackjackIQ is intended for educational purposes to teach card counting 

mathematics and probability theory. 

The app is rated for ages 4+ and does not target children specifically. We do 

not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.  

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with 

personal information through the app, please contact us at  

support@blackjack-iq.com so we can delete it. 

9. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES  

9.1 Data Access and Control 

You have complete control over your data: 

- View all your training statistics within the app's Statistics screen  

- Reset your progress at any time through the app settings  

- Enable or disable iCloud sync in the app settings 

- Manually sync or restore your data from iCloud in Settings  

- Restore your Pro Trainer purchase through the Settings menu 

- All data is stored locally or in your personal iCloud - we cannot access it 

9.2 Data Deletion 

To delete your data:  

- Local data: Simply delete the app from your device. All locally stored data 

is automatically removed. 

- iCloud data: Disable iCloud sync in the app settings, then reset your 

progress. Alternatively, you can manage iCloud storage through iOS Settings > 

Your Name > iCloud > Manage Storage.  

- Contact us at support@blackjack-iq.com if you need assistance with data 

deletion. 

9.3 Opt-Out Options 

Since we do not collect analytics or use tracking services, there is nothing  

to opt out of. The app respects your privacy by default.  

10. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA)  

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:  

- Know what personal information we collect about you 

- Request deletion of your personal information 

- Opt-out of the sale of your personal information  

Important note: We do not sell personal information, and we collect minimal 

data (only training statistics stored locally on your device).

11. EUROPEAN USERS (GDPR) 

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the 

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):  

- Right to access your data 

- Right to rectification (correction)

- Right to data portability 

- Right to object to processing 

Since your data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud

12. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE AND LEGAL USE 

BlackjackIQ is designed as an educational tool to teach card counting 

mathematics, probability theory, and mental arithmetic skills.  

Important clarifications: 

- The app does NOT facilitate real money gambling 

- The app does NOT connect to online casinos or gambling sites  

- The app does NOT provide gambling services of any kind  

- The app is intended solely for learning and skill development 

- Card counting is a legal mathematical technique 

- Users are responsible for understanding and following gambling laws in their

jurisdiction 

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY  

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our 

practices or for legal reasons. 

We will notify you of any changes by: 

- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy  

- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and on our website  

- Sending you an in-app notification for material changes 

Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the 

updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.  

14. INTERNATIONAL USERS 

BlackjackIQ is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the

United States, please be aware that information stored in iCloud may be  

transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where  

Apple operates iCloud data centers. 

By using the app and enabling iCloud sync, you consent to the transfer of your

information to these jurisdictions. Apple's iCloud service complies with 

applicable data protection laws.  

15. DATA RETENTION  

We retain your data as follows: 

- Local data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or reset your  

progress  

- iCloud data: Stored in your iCloud account until you disable iCloud sync and

delete it  

- Purchase records: Maintained by Apple through your Apple ID indefinitely  

(required for purchase restoration) 

When you delete the app:  

- All locally stored data is automatically removed from your device 

- iCloud data persists in your iCloud account until you manually delete it  

through Settings or iCloud management
